Together, we build a stronger foundation for mental wellness
in White Rock and South Surrey by empowering our
community to lead, collaborate, and innovate.

White Rock pier

Our Story

We started Together in March 2020 with support from a Peace Arch Hospital Foundation Healthy Community Grant and the City of White Rock. The organization was founded in response to the urgent need for mental wellness support during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A small group of local health professionals created a centralized hub for reliable resources, which developed into a website providing information about access to local services and free counselling sessions. As demand grew, Together became a collaborative network, bringing providers and community organizations together with those who use or recommend mental wellness services.

Today, we focus on accessibility, social justice, and innovative solutions to improve mental wellness. By engaging with community partners and individuals, we develop and test innovative mental wellness solutions that resonate with our values. We empower others to co-create solutions, using collaboration as the bedrock for sustainable wellness initiatives.

Together continues to be a catalyst for change, working to expand our reach and create a more inclusive environment for mental wellness support in South Surrey and White Rock.

Meet the Team

The strength of Together lies in the collaborative efforts of our team, partners, and volunteers. We work to build and implement mental wellness initiatives that resonate with our community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to foster transformative growth in community mental wellness. We empower the community to take an active role in shaping and sustaining these efforts. We believe that lasting change is built on shared leadership and collaboration, where the voices of all stakeholders are heard, valued, and integrated. By creating the space for bold ideas and shared resources, we’re building a future of mental wellbeing that reflects the strength of our community.

Our Vision

We envision a future where mental wellness is equitable and accessible for all. We place individuals at the centre of their wellness journey, honouring their diverse needs and perspectives. Our commitment to equity drives us to approach each initiative with cultural humility, elevating social justice and diversity in all we do. Through collaboration, innovation, and openness, we seek to create sustainable and transformative solutions, addressing the unique challenges of our ever-changing community.
